2026 Swim Team
SWIM TEAM INFORMATION
If you live in the Huntsville, Alabama area and your children enjoy swimming, the Byrd Spring Bull Sharks would love for your swimmer to join us for summer swim team!
Everyone loves the fun that comes from participating in the best of summer fun at the pool!
We welcome swimmers of all ability levels - if your swimmer is between 4-6 and cannot swim 25 yards without assistance, we welcome them to start with our Baby Sharks program! Our Baby Sharks are still part of our swim team, but are learning the fundamentals of swimming first!
We are one of the first pools in Huntsville to offer "swim team only" membership! This means you do not have to have a full pool membership to join our swim team.

Swim Team Fees
1st Swimmer: $130.00
2nd Swimmer: $110.00
3rd Swimmer: $110.00
*Since BSAA is a member-only pool, each family who does not hold a regular summer membership must pay the swim-team only membership fee of $185 PLUS swim team fees.
Baby Sharks!
$200 per swimmer (additional non-pool member fee also applies to Baby Sharks)
*All fees are nonrefundable. There is an additional $3.00 charge that will be collected through swimtopia.
Swim Team Only Membership
(Non-members)
If you are not an active member of BSAA and
want a Swim Team Only membership, you must pay BOTH the $185 membership fee
plus the per child fees.
This Membership application is valid for the
Swim Team season of current year only.
The swim season will run from Memorial day until City Meet (2nd week in July).
Practice Schedule
Baby Sharks (ages 4-6 and cannot swim a lap unassisted)
Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri (no Wednesdays)
8:00-8:30 am

Bull Sharks A (ages 4-10 and can swim a lap unassisted)
Mon, Tues & Fri-8:30-9:30
Ribbon parties are Thurdays at 9:00
Bull Sharks B (ages 11-17)
Mon, Tues & Fri-9:30-10:30
Ribbon parties are Thurdays at 9:00
Evening Practice (all groups except Baby Sharks and is ONLY for swimmers who cannot attend morning practice)
Mon, Tues & Fri
6:00-7:00 pm
Saturday Practice (all groups except Baby Sharks. Swimmers will do land exercises and stroke and turn practice)
9:00 - 10:30 am
Ribbon Party - Thursdays at 9:00 am
We have a fun "practice" with a ribbon party each Thursday morning to celebrate the swim meet that took place on Wednesday night!
