MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Household Equity Membership

Annual dues: $525
One-time equity investment: $200

Our Household Equity Membership provides full pool access for the individuals listed on the membership application who permanently reside at the same address.

​

Household Membership Includes:

• Full pool access during regular operating hours

• Equity membership in Byrd Spring Aquatic Association

• One vote per membership on matters presented to the membership

• Access to BSAA member events

• Eligibility to rent the pool for approved private events

• The option to sell or transfer the membership, subject to Board approval

• The ability to add a regular babysitter to the membership

• Guest privileges under the current BSAA Guest Policy

Children cared for by a member who regularly provides babysitting services may also be included according to current BSAA membership policy.

Individual Equity Membership

Eligibility: One adult age 18 or older
Annual dues: $300
One-time equity investment: $200

The Individual Equity Membership provides full pool access and equity-member privileges for one named adult.

Individual Membership Includes:

• Full pool access during regular operating hours

• Equity membership in Byrd Spring Aquatic Association

• One vote per membership on matters presented to the membership

• Access to BSAA member events

• Eligibility to rent the pool for approved private events

• The option to sell or transfer the membership, subject to Board approval

• Guest privileges under the current BSAA Guest Policy

This membership covers only the individual named on the application. Other household members, babysitters, and children in the member’s care aren’t included and must visit as guests.

Senior Equity Membership

Eligibility: Up to two adults age 60 or older who reside at the same address
Annual dues: $360
One-time equity investment: $200

The Senior Equity Membership provides full pool access and equity-member privileges for up to two named adults age 60 or older who share a permanent address.

Senior Membership Includes:

• Full pool access during regular operating hours

• Equity membership in Byrd Spring Aquatic Association

• One vote per membership on matters presented to the membership

• Access to BSAA member events

• Eligibility to rent the pool for approved private events

• The option to sell or transfer the membership, subject to Board approval

• Guest privileges under the current BSAA Guest Policy

This membership covers only the eligible adults named on the application. Other household members, babysitters, and children in the members’ care aren’t included and must visit as guests.

Swim Team Only Membership

Seasonal membership fee: $185 per household
Additional cost: Registration fee for each swimmer

Families don’t need a full BSAA pool membership to join the Byrd Spring Bull Sharks or Baby Sharks!

​

Swim Team Only Membership Includes:

• Access to the pool during scheduled swim team practices, meets, and team activities.

• This membership is valid for one swim team season and must be renewed each year.

This membership doesn’t include recreational pool access outside of official swim team programming. Should families wish to upgrade this membership, the amount paid toward the Swim Team Only Membership can be applied to the Household Membership fee within the same summer.

Summer-Only Membership

Seasonal fee: TBD

A Summer-Only Membership provides one household with recreational access to the pool for a single summer season without purchasing equity in the Association.

Summer-Only Membership Includes

• Pool access during the regular summer season

• Access to summer member events

• Guest privileges under the current BSAA Guest Policy

Summer-Only Memberships don’t include ownership or voting rights and can’t be sold or transferred. Availability may be limited and is subject to Board approval.

Guest Privileges

Equity members may bring up to 10 nonmember guests per visit. The current guest fee of $5 applies to each guest.

 

Members wishing to bring more than 10 guests should contact BSAA in advance to schedule an approved party or private event. Please review our Guest Policy for complete rules, visit limits, and waiver requirements.
